I am Sarah Cawood. Mother, Blogger: Happy Horizontal TV Watcher:)
One of my favourite things about the festive season is all the wonderful TV to watch. My plan for the 25th day of December is: nothing! I will lie on my sofa, fire lit, Christmas tree twinkling, cinnamon candle burning and I will feast on the Yuletide TV schedules.
Make sure you’ve got enough homemade snacks to feast on! I saw an idea recently for a popcorn buffet, where plain popcorn is put out with various seasonings and toppings. Try cinnamon sugar, finely-grated Parmesan, sea salt, and of course, melted Lurpak.
Beyond The Couch:
Christmas doesn’t just involve the Goggle Box, oh no. On a particularly active day, you can get ahead in the gift wrapping stakes: a glass of mulled wine, tasty snacks, a festive movie on TV and a mountain of gifts to wrap: heaven.
Get The Juice:
Don’t be stuck without power. Ensure a ready supply of all sizes of batteries and chargers for any devices you might need over yuletide. Then you can play with all your new gadgets without the frustration of waiting for the corner shop to open on Boxing Day.
You can find all the other various Christmas "types" at the Lurpak Facebook page where you can also find the chance to win a fabulous set of Stuart Gardiner crackers:
It's the longest, coldest, most miserable month of the year. For what it's worth, this is a little bit of Cawood Wisdom to see us through it:
Eat healthy, wholesome warming food.
Get a bit of fresh air every day.
Take long baths and get cosy every night.
Don't beat yourself up if you fancy a glass of wine or a bar of chocolate, how else are we going to make it through such a dismal time of year?!!
Treat yourself to some bunches of daffodils to brighten up your Lily Pad and make you dream of sunnier times to come.
See you on the other side everyone! It can't last forever....
